Shannon Butler
Master's of Counselling Student
I am a student of counselling psychology at Yorkville University. I have dedicated my life to supporting individuals on their healing journeys. As I embark on my practicum, I am excited to combine my holistic health background and knowledge of local social services with counselling.
I am a lifelong mindfulness and yoga student who is passionate about exploring the mind-body-spirit connection. I apply an integrative therapy approach, drawing on various modalities, including CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused brief therapy for depression and anxiety. I incorporate humanistic and psychodynamic techniques, tailoring interventions to the client's needs.
I look forward to working with clients of all ages and stages, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for them to explore thoughts, values, and experiences. I am committed to fostering an environment where clients feel empowered to share their stories and embark on their personal journeys of growth and transformation.
Shannon is currently offering in-person and online appointments.
Please note that online therapy is only available for individuals living within the province of Alberta.
