Emma Chrenek

Master's of Counselling Student

Welcome! My name is Emma, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Counselling at City University. My professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals seeking growth and healing.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative, combining evidence-based practices with a genuine and authentic understanding of each client’s unique experiences. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients develop practical skills, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

I provide support for individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, life stage transitions, gender and sexuality exploration, self-esteem challenges, and emotion regulation. I am particularly passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals and those exploring new aspects of their identity, ensuring that every client, regardless of age or background, feels understood and empowered.

I work with teens and adults, tailoring my approach to meet the diverse needs of each client. I am honoured to walk alongside you on your journey toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Together, we can navigate challenges and embrace the possibilities of positive change.

Emma is currently offering in-person and online appointments.

Please note that online therapy is only available for individuals living within the province of Alberta.
