I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and have acquired my Master’s degree from City University of Seattle. My experience and interests include working with individuals, youth, parents, couples, and families who experienced concern in the following areas: anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, boundary setting, stress management, interpersonal or intrapersonal relationships and life transitions. After 5+ years of working in the non-profit sector, I have a growing passion in serving individuals who have experienced traumatic events or adverse experiences. As well, a special interest in serving those who have experienced or are currently exposed to vicarious trauma.
My therapeutic approach draws from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed therapies, Person-Centered, Strength-Based, and Attachment-Based approaches. I find value in utilizing such approaches grounded in evidence-based research and compassion to assist clients in evoking their fullest potential from within. I aspire to support my clients in building an authentic and meaningful life.
I have obtained the Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy Level 1 and 2. As well as training in the following modalities of therapy, including: Dialectic Behavioral Therapy Comprehensive & Skills Training, Emotion-Focused Attachment Science, Somatic Approach to Working with Trauma, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (basic and advanced trainings) and am also diligent in extracting skillsets which draw from a Trauma-Informed lens.
